Five years ago, the Sodexo USA Careers Blog was born! We started as a private, invitation-only website and have grown with the help of the thousands of monthly visitors who read and shared our posts and engaged with our team members.
The purpose of this blog remains the same as day one; to inform, entertain, and most of all generate an energetic buzz about Sodexo. Through our posts, we bring meaning to a “day-in-the-life” and demonstrate who we are as a company. We also bring clarity to our hiring process and offer suggestions to best position yourself for employment.
Today we are celebrating this important milestone by reflecting on those stories and advice and thanking our guest bloggers and regular contributors. See how many photos you recognize and stories you remember from the last year!
Our recruiting department places an emphasis on acknowledging and celebrating our team members’ accomplishments and milestones on our weekly team call. Having just reached my one year mark with Sodexo, I celebrated my anniversary by reflecting upon the contributions I've made to the company so far. It’s remarkable to look at how much growth can take place in one year and to count the new friends I picked up along the way!
As for the blog, I have seen this baby grow too! We added the USA to our name and URL, surpassed our 500th blog post, enlisted help writing from our interns, operators and new team members, and continue to be one of Sodexo USA Careers most visited social sites.
