5 FAQs about Jobs at Sodexo

By ChloƩ Rada, Senior Marketing Manager - Talent Acquisition

Because our recent post about how to connect with a Sodexo Recruiter became wildly popular among our talent networks, we are continuing with that theme and sharing the five most frequently asked questions about jobs at Sodexo.  (If you haven’t seen the LinkedIn thread, you can read it here.)

While downloading the Sodexo Jobs App and visiting our career site are both good starting points, these answers will help prepare you for what to expect, how to navigate the job search process and link you to previous blog posts.

1.  Is Sodexo hiring now?

Yes. Sodexo is always looking for managers to join our team. Visit our job search page and choose one of these four portals based on who you are: a Sodexo management employee, a former Sodexo management employee, an hourly Sodexo employee and thinking about working for Sodexo.

You can search all open positions or specific jobs by category and location. You'll be prompted to create a profile, so review these tips before posting your resume.

2.  I don’t see any jobs after choosing my category and location.  Now what?

New job opportunities become available every day.  If you do not see an opening in your desired area, set up a job search agent!

This short video will show you how to create a personal job alert.  By receiving emails from us in your inbox, you can streamline your job search and keep abreast of future openings.

3. How do I check the status of my application?

In addition to checking the status of management positions that you’ve applied for, logging into the career center will enable you to change your contact information or password in your profile and upload a new resume.

4. Is there opportunity for advancement within Sodexo?

Yes. At Sodexo, you have the unique ability to create your own career. We encourage and support continuous learning so that you’ll add to your existing know-how, acquire new skills, and prepare for career growth and mobility.

5. What types of internships does Sodexo offer?

The Sodexo Future Leaders Internship Program will afford college students with the opportunity to turn their leadership potential into valuable professional experience, and get a head start on their career.

In this eight or ten week internship, you will get exposure to the On-site Service industry and learn about our business operating procedures.  Sodexo also offers five accredited Dietetic Internship Programs.
